These lids are made from Ingeo™ – a plant-based PLA bioplastic.
They are certified industrially compostable (AS4736) and designed for the circular economy.
The production of bioplastic results in 75% lower greenhouse gas emissions compared to conventional plastic derived from fossil resources.
Note: these lids are cold use only.
Bioplastics must be stored out of the direct sun and below 35°C. If stored correctly, they have a 12-month shelf life.
Bioplastic does not have suitable oxygen barrier properties to store food for more than a few days
