Avanti 12938 - Digital Large Screen Steak Thermometer - White

With the Avanti® Digital Meat Thermometer you can monitor your next meal's internal temperature, ensuring that it is cooked to completion. Simple to use, just insert the probe into the thickest part of the meat and the temperature is measured accurately within 6 to 7 seconds. Featuring a large LCD backlight screen, the display automatically rotates according to angle inserted. A toggle button allows you to view the temperature reading in either Celsius or Fahrenheit and has a wide measuring range of -40°C to +250°C (-40°F to +482°F).

Use & Care:

• Remove the protective film from the LCD display.
• Before first use, remove the plastic strip from the battery compartment.
• Remove the protection cap off probe and clean the sensor with a damp cloth before first use.
• Press the button to turn the thermometer on. The LCD screen will display the current ambient temperature.
• Press the same button to display the temperature in either Celsius or Fahrenheit.
• Insert the probe at least 2cm into food or liquid being measured. The reading is accurate with a response time of 6–7 seconds.
• Do not leave thermometer in oven or microwave while cooking
• Press the button for 3 seconds to switch off the thermometer. The unit will power off automatically after 45 minutes.
• Clean the probe after use and put the protection cap back on.
• Clean probe with a damp cloth and wipe dry.
• Do not immerse in water.
